One thing that could never be argued about the Raiders franchise, whether they are based in Oakland, Los Angeles, or Las Vegas, is that they have one of the most passionate and rabid fanbases in all professional sports. This has often led to the Raiders having one of the best home-field advantages in the NFL.

But now, in Las Vegas with a brand new beautiful stadium, the Raiders have unfortunately seen some of that home-field advantage dissipate with more opposing team fans invading the stadium. And this is something that apparently doesn’t sit well with owner Mark Davis who has an idea on how to help remedy the situation.

According to Steve DelVecchio of Yard Barker, a former Raiders executive believes Davis is unhappy with the number of visiting fans inside Allegiant Stadium and plans on being aggressive in trying to bring in quarterback Tom Brady to help with that issue:

A former Raiders executive told Outkick’s Jason Cole last week that Davis has grown frustrated with the amount of visiting fans who have flooded Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Davis was said to be angry when there seemed to be more Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chiefs fans than Raiders fans in attendance when Las Vegas hosted the two teams last season.

The lack of support from “home” fans is one reason Davis is reportedly planning to be aggressive in trying to lure Tom Brady to Las Vegas.

“Mark is embarrassed,” the former Raiders executive told Cole. “He was pis–d last year when the Chiefs and Bears brought so many fans to town. Now it’s happening every week. He wants it to stop. He wanted Brady before when Jon Gruden finally turned it down and now, he wants Brady again. Mark thinks having McDaniels is going to be the key.”

Road fans invading stadiums has become even more rampant in all sports recently as secondary ticket sites make it easier for people to buy tickets to games. Even still, there are certain places where the home fans still drown out the visitors, and Mark Davis expects his home to be one of those places.

Bringing in Brady, the greatest quarterback of all time, could be the move to increase fan support even more, especially in the Las Vegas area, and ensure that every home game is filled with silver and black, giving the Raiders that true home-field advantage the team wants.
